Kick back, relax, and take us with you:
Sometimes you want your fav craft beer, but you don't want the taproom energy, and you don't want to just hang at home either. Sometimes you crave solitude, fresh air, or maybe a little reward when you reach the summit.
Here's a few spots in Victoria that we love to retreat to when the hustle and bustle of Market Square becomes a bit too much:
Clover Point
Pack your bag full of snacks and head down to Clover Point to kick back and watch the kiters, dogs, and catch the sunset.
Willows Beach
Great views, lively folks, and not the worst swimming spot either. Whether you're playing a round of spike ball with friends or just lounging on the beach with a book you'll be in good company at Willows.
Mount Doug
Nestled between the outskirts of the city and Cordova Bay you'll find various hiking trails and thick fir and maple trees.
Hike to the tip top and treat yourself to a little reward!
Saxe Point
Just over the bridge and down by the water, enjoy the sounds of crashing waves, the wind in your hair, and the panoramic views Esquimalt has to offer.
Island View Beach
Feel like taking a drive? Smack dab in the middle of Saanich is a long stretch of beach great for strolling, walking the dog, or loading up the cooler and settling in for the day.
Hot tip: stop at the Harvest Road food truck on the way, you won't be disappointed!
